Step 1:- Insert your affected Pen-Drive into the computer.
First,Ā you have to know the drive letter of your pen drive by inserting it into your computer. It may very with another computer. When you will insert your pen drive into the computer you can see the drive letter in the āRemovable Disksā area in the picture below. Insert your pen drive into the computer.
After inserting your removable device into your Laptop or Desktop, please go to āThis PCā on windows 10, or āMy Computerā on earlier versions of windows.
Here, your main task now is finding the āRemovable Drive Letterā.Ā You can see theĀ Drive LatterĀ like below. You should have to remember it till the last of this tutorial.
Step Two: Opening āCommand Promptā by Run Command.
Run command can be opened by pressing āWindows Logo KeyĀ + Rā from your keyboard. Once you opened āRunā type this code in it: āCMDā and press enter button.
After that āCommand Promptā wizard will appear on your desktop. Now it is time to put some code in command prompt.
Step Three: Typing the Code of the shortcut virus
attrib -r -a -s -h /s /d E:\*.*
After opening command prompt you have to write the above code carefully in it. You have to change theĀ (Drive Word)Ā as your drive latter we mentioned earlier.
HereĀ āEāĀ is your drive latter; Change this latter exactly as it of your pen drive (Maybe your removable drive latter is D, E, F, G, H, I, J, etc.). After typing this code press enter on your keyboard.
Step Four: Copping the main files or folders you lost.
After pressing enter button āOpen Your Pen Driveā and you can see your lost files and folders along with the shortcut files and folders.
Immediately Copy Your Real Files and Folders From Pen Drive Into Your Computer. After copying files and foldersĀ āFormatāĀ your pen drive.
